Jessica and Carrie’s Catfight Continues

Jessica Simpson, from the reality tv show, The Newlyweds and Carrie Underwood from American Idol fame are still catfighting over Tony Romo and the recent news is that Jessica is putting out the rumours that her beau is still talking to Carrie.

OK! Magazine reported in May that Tony is still in contact with Carrie via phone and texting because even though they broke up, they still remain friends. Jessica says that the rumour isn’t true and she knows for sure because she checks his call log on his phone.

But, an exclusive source close to Carrie told OK! Magazine that Underwood and Romo are definately still friends and talk in spite of what Jessica is saying. “She’s livid that Jessica would feel the need to publicly try and embarrass her when it’s Jessica who should be embarrassed. Her boyfriend is calling Carrie behind her back!”

Carrie may just be adding fuel to the fire though because she thinks that, “Jessica is just a big bottle of bleach and a pair of high-heeled cowboy boots trying to ride off of the fame of Newlyweds.” according to another source.

Will there be a catfight on stage at the CMA Awards on November 12, when the two women promote their albums? Carrie doesn’t seem concerned as her friend commented, “She’d love to see Jess try to come close to achieving the success she has,” says a friend. “She doesn’t think  Jessica has the God-given talent.”

Maybe the two women are in this thing together and think that any publicity will do them both good and spike a rise in their album sales!
