Kathy Ireland, Star Jones, Jennie Garth And Gene Simmons To Appear On Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader

Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader is returning for a brand new season with new students and celebrity contestants. Jeff Foxworthy will be returning as host, and the celebrities will be playing for their favorite charities.

On the premiere episode for season three, supermodel Kathy Ireland and Georgia State Superintendent of Schools Kathy Cox will be contestants. The premiere will run for two hours on Friday, September 5 from 8 PM to 10 PM ET/PT.

Other celebrities that will be participating in the third season include former The View co-host Star Jones, actress Jennie Garth, KISS front man Gene Simmons, boxing legend Sugar Ray Leonard, zookeeper Jack Hanna, actor Dean Cain, astronaut Robert “Hoot” Gibson, Jeopardy record-holder Ken Jennings, and Nobel Prize Laureate George Fitzgerald Smoot III.

The new students for the third season include ten year old Bryce from Rockwall, TX; ten year old Francesca from San Diego, CA; ten year old Jenna from Baltimore, MD; nine year old Jonathan from Los Angeles, CA; and ten year old Olivia from Los Angeles, CA.
