Wanna Bet Premieres On ABC

Wanna Bet

A new celebrity reality game show is coming to ABC. “Wanna Bet?” gives celebrities the chance to win money for their favorite charities. The celebrities win by betting on either the success or failure of stunts, tricks and mental challenges performed by ordinary Americans.

The contestants will include people from all walks of life, including housewives, truck drivers, dentists, and even kids. Some of the stunts will include a man attempting to use a 50 pound semi-truck tire as a hula hoop, a blindfolded man trying to identify four out of five CDs through licking them, and four movers trying to load dozens of couches into a moving truck.

“Wanna Bet?” is hosted by British comedians Ant and Dec. On the premiere episode, Sherri Shepherd, George Takei, Tom Green and Harland Williams will make up the celebrity panel. “Wanna Bet?” premieres on Monday, July 21 from 9 PM to 10 PM ET on ABC.
