American Idol & Courtney Love: Who Punked Who?

A story recently appeared on Us Weekly’s website that almost anybody
would have to have known was false.  Us Weekly reported that Courtney
Love was invited by American Idol producer Nigel Lythgoe to be a guest
judge on American Idol.  Us Weekly also went on to report that even
though Love refused to provide any more specific details that a source
told them Lythgoe was considering having Love replace Paula Abdul.
Every season there is some type of false report about Paula Abdul being
replaced on American Idol, and Us Weekly’s report had to be the most
outlandish one ever.

Beauty & The Geek Results – Nadia & Mario Eliminated

For the fifth episode of Beauty & The Geek 3, a player was added to
each of the four remaining teams.  The additional player was a dog.
The geeks were challenged to take their dogs to the park and gather as
many phone numbers from women as possible.  The beauties were
challenged to build dog houses for their new team members.

American Idol Los Angeles Auditions – Panther On The Prowl

Guest judge Olivia Newton-John joined Randy Jackson, Paula Abdul, and
Simon Cowell for the American Idol 6 Los Angeles auditions.  Martik
Manoukian from Tujunga, California kicked off the auditions by showing
off his panther moves.  Martik sang “Sweetest Princess.”  Simon Cowell
described the audition as “horrific” and “horrendous.”

Class is in session for a six-episode run of ARE YOU SMARTER THAN A 5th
GRADER?, a new quiz show from Mark Burnett. The series commences with
preview episodes over three consecutive nights following AMERICAN IDOL.
Special half-hour episodes will air Tuesday, Feb. 27 (9:30-10:00 PM
ET/PT) and Wednesday, Feb. 28 (9:30-10:00 PM ET/PT), and full one-hour
episodes will air after AMERICAN IDOL on Thursdays, March 1 and 8
(9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT).  The show will lead off the night on Thursdays,
March 15 and 22 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

Bernard Williams II Wants To Be Another Birmingham Idol

Bernard Williams II is twenty-six years old and is from Pleasant Grove,
Alabama.  Before his American Idol 6 audition, Bernard said that he was
hoping to be another one in the long line of Birmingham Idols.  Bernard
also added that he had heard that Simon Cowell said the next Idol would
not come from Birmingham, and he was wanting to prove him wrong.

Katie Bernard Talks Like A Little Girl On American Idol 6

Before her American Idol 6 audition, Tatiana McConnico said that
singing was what she was born to do and that she was a huge fan of the
American Idol show.  Tatiana also said that her audition was the
biggest thing that she had ever done in her life, but Reality TV
Magazine discovered that Tatiana has a very impressive background in
singing.
