The critics who wrote this show off in the first episode were wrong. Despite some frustrations over the somewhat erratic decisions by the judges, the American Inventor is an enjoyable show. There seems to be a pattern in the early auditions to focus on the wackiest inventions and the most heartwarming inventor stories.

The La Mina and Casaya tribes merge. Casaya has a six to four numbers advantage over La Mina. Terry Deitz works on trying to swing Bruce over from Casaya to Lamina. Bruce delights in being the swing vote and having the most power in the tribe. While Nick is cutting rope to build a shelter, the machete slips and hits Bruce Kanegai in the face. Even though it draws blood, Bruce is tough and stays in the game.

Here we go again. Don’t wait to get on America’s Next Top Model to find your confidence and a few clues. If you thought Gina did not know herself last week, this week was a no brainer as to who would be eliminated. All the girls have taken the advice of the judges and applied it to their shoots. Did Gina get the memo…? Hello! Anyone in there to activate Gina’s brain? Gina has a fantastic face and no confidence. One without the other does not work in the fashion industry. Earlier this week Reality TV Magazine ran an article detailing an invention that the American Inventor judges made a joke out of that seemed to be a good invention with a proven market. Now, Reality TV Magazine takes a look at another good invention that we feel the judges made a mistake in overlooking. Marc Griffin presented his game of BulletBall with passion and commitment, and the game seemed like a marketable product. Marc demonstrated all the characteristics that the American Inventor show claims to be seeking, but the American Inventor judges seemed more focused on the inventor’s life story rather than seriously evaluating his invention.

In the second episode, the Unan1mous participants decide that the worst secret is being “a patient at a mental ward.” Richard is revealed as the participant who was a mental ward patient. Richard has to wear an outcast uniform, but he remains in the bunker to vote in the game. Even though Richard won’t be able to win the money, he will play a role in determining who does.

In October 2005, Hurricane Wilma, identified as the most intense hurricane in American history at its peak, tore apart homes and lives as it ripped through Florida. Now in a one-hour special, "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition — After the Storm, Florida" travels to weather-ravaged Broward County to help rebuild a local woman’s soup kitchen and shelter that has helped heal the hearts of thousands. In addition, the show helps create a dream wedding for a young couple whose own wedding was washed out two times, by Hurricane Wilma and then Katrina. And lastly, the home of the 2003 Little League World Champions is completely refurbished just in time for opening day. American Idol fans now have a chance to bid in an auction for an American Idol t-shirt autographed by fifteen American Idol 5 contestants and benefit a good cause in the process. Taylor Hicks, Birmingham’s American Idol, has jumped on board with Kid One Transport to help raise funds for the Birmingham, Alabama based non-profit.
