In Reality TV Magazine’s Wacky Reality TV Predictions for 2006, we predicted that Jonny Fairplay would run for Governor of the state of California. It’s just a different reality TV star on the opposite coast. Rumors are now circulating that Donald Trump will run for Governor of New York.

Nick Lachey and Paris Hilton get married? Jonny Fairplay elected Governor? CBS premieres Survivor Family Edition? Randal fires Trump? With 2005 drawing to a close, it is time for Reality TV Magazine to make our reality TV predictions for the Year 2006. So without further ado, here are Reality TV Magazine’s wacky, made-up reality TV predictions for 2006.

Have you seen the web clip of the police officer shooting himself in the foot while teaching a gun safety class at a local high school? Or the one where a local newscaster falls flat on her face while demonstrating how to make wine the old-fashion way? The internet has proven to be a double-edged sword. Not only is it the single-most important advancement for mankind and modern technology, it has made it a lot easier to watch video clips of celebrity slip-ups, animated satire, bloopers and every day people at their most outrageous.

Bethenny appeared to pull off the perfect event on her last task, while Dawna Stone had problems with the program for her event. Martha Stewart also repeatedly questioned if Dawna had vision (which is something that is very important for an employee of Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia).

The Year 2005 proved to be another great year for reality TV. Sure there were a fair share of notable reality TV flops during the year which brought out the standard media declarations of the death of reality TV, but there were also enough reality TV hits to prove that the reality TV genre of television isn’t going away any time soon. The fact is there will always be reality TV shows just like there will always be situation comedy shows.

The Year 2005 continued to blur the line between celebrity and reality TV star, which has led Reality TV Magazine to develop three distinctly separate Top Ten Reality Stars of 2005 lists. The first two lists are for the male and female reality TV stars that most people had never heard of before reality TV made them famous. The third list is for celebrities that were already famous but became involved in reality TV to revive their careers, get a huge paycheck, or just for the fun of it. We also included reality TV show judges and hosts in our celebrity list.

The Year 2005 has been a very memorable year for reality TV, one that has been filled with controversial and outrageous moments. The year started with American Idol 4 offering up more controversy per episode than most shows offer in an entire season, and the year ended with Donald Trump’s Apprentice showing that it can play the controversy game too.

Bo Bice’s "The Real Thing" CD has now been out in stores for over a week and has been getting mixed reviews from critics. E! Online called the CD “real dull,” while the Philadelphia Inquirer says it “ranks right behind Kelly Clarkson’s Breakaway as the best CD to date by an Idol alum.” My advice to hard core Bo Bice fans is don’t even think about buying the CD. Instead buy the Dual Disc. The Dual Disc is worth the extra money a thousand times over.
