What would a New Year’s Eve Party be without a reality TV star?  The Big Apple won’t be the only city celebrating the New Year reality TV style.  “Nashville Star” winner Brad Cotter will be performing at “The Korbel All American New Year’s Eve Bash” in downtown Nashville, Tennessee.  Lee Greenwood will be hosting the event which will also feature performances by Ronnie Milsap and Chely Wright.  The event will also be telecast as part of Fox News Channel’s “All American New Year’s Eve.”  However, the true highlight of the event no doubt will be that "the traditional “ball drop” at the strike of twelve, will be replaced by a huge guitar that will descend from high over the Cumberland River."

Ring in the New Year with Ryan Seacrest

Can’t wait for the new season of American Idol to kick off on January 18, 2005, then join Ryan Seacrest on New Year’s Eve, Live from Times Square.   Ryan and Brooke Burns from Fox’s North Shore will review the nation’s favorite songs from "America’s Top 40" and interview celebrities and musical acts. Also, multi-platinum artist Usher, who this month walked away with 11 Billboard Music Awards, including "Artist of the Year," unveils his new mini-movie, "Rhythm City Volume 1: Money, Power, Respect," during Fox’s annual New Year’s Eve special. The never-before-seen 20-minute mini-movie will feature four of Usher’s hits, including "Seduction," "Caught Up," "Red Light" and "Take Your Hands," and a cameo by AMERICAN IDOL’s Seacrest. The New Year’s Eve special will also feature performances by Hoobastank and Evanescence.
Friday, Dec. 31 (11:00 PM-12:30 AM ET Live/PT Tape-Delayed) on FOX.
